Year 4 had a visit from Ellie, a Championship Athletics medal winner. We got to see and hold her gold medal. It was so exciting!
We would like to wish all our families a very merry Christmas. We will be back to school on Tuesday 7th January. What a busy week we have had celebrating Christmas together! Thank you for all donations to school and the food bank and well done to all our winners from raffle goodie bags to selection boxes for the best Christmas jumper designs.The children enjoyed parties and a visit to Santa in the library. They have been extremely well behaved, even when Mrs Plant put a spell on all the teachers and made them dance in assembly!
Nursery children and staff have worked very hard learning the songs and dances for 'A Very Merry Christmas' written by the talented Miss Marsh. They performed in front of families and friends on Friday and really enjoyed sharing the experience with you all. Thank you to all involved and we would like to wish you a Very Merry Christmas!

Year 1 had a wonderful visit to Black Country Museum last week. They saw old fashioned Christmas decorations and got to ask questions in a range of shops and other buildings. The children showed respect and listened carefully. Thank you to staff and volunteers for a great learning experience. It really brought history alive!

Reception were so pleased to be able to share their hard work with the rest of school and their families this week when they performed their Nativity play on stage. A glitch with sound today did not put our dancing angels off, well done!We hope all the families who came to support them enjoyed the show and they should all feel very proud of themselves.
On Tuesday morning, Year 3 walked to Catshill Methodist Church to watch the parishioners perform the Christmas story. We had an amazing time. Thank you!
